Glycol Ether PE acts as a solvent. It is a good substitute for E-series solvents particularly EM (ethylene glycol mono methyl ether) and EE (ethylene glycol ethyl ether). Blends of it can be used when replacing one of the slower evaporating E-series ethers. It is used in inks applications.
