Glycol Ether PTB is a coalescing agent. It is a colorless, combustible, propylene glycol ether solvent. It can be used as a substitute for many ethylene glycol ethers (including butoxyethanol). It offers good solvency for a number of substances. It provides improved drying time and gloss. It exhibits excellent coupling ability and high electrolyte solubility. It is used in adhesive products.
